Sustainability Victoria helps Victorians reduce waste and move toward a circular economy. We won the business during the height of Covid lockdowns through a competitive pitch. The brief: create a platform and campaign to get more people recycling properly. Our idea was simple — show the unexpected things recycling can create, like glass bottles turned into roads and plastic into planter boxes.
We ended up making over 90 films in various languages and out of home executions to cater for the vast array of nationalities in Australia that we needed to target. It was important to educate as many people as possible, because a small act from lots of people makes a big impact on everyone.
